1. Scope

This policy applies to the TITAN Smart Reminder Chrome extension and this promotional website. It describes the information handled by the extension's reminder, follow-up, contextual webpage, AI scheduling, sound, theme, and synchronization features.

2. Information we handle

TITAN is designed to be privacy-first. Depending on the features you use, the extension may handle:

• Reminder information: titles, messages, dates, times, recurrence rules, snooze choices, completion/history information, and related settings.
• Follow-up information: contact names, company names, sequence steps, dates, and task text that you enter.
• Webpage context: the URL, domain, and page title of a webpage only when you explicitly use the "Remind Me Here" feature.
• Customization data: selected themes, alert preferences, and locally uploaded audio files.
• AI request content: the natural-language reminder text you submit when using AI scheduling, together with the minimum information required to turn that text into a structured reminder.
• Account/synchronization information: where cloud sync is enabled, information necessary to associate your synced reminders and sequences with your account and synchronize them between supported devices.

3. Webpage context & the activeTab permission

The "Remind Me Here" feature is designed to capture context only when you deliberately invoke it. When you use the feature, TITAN may receive the current page's URL, domain, and title so that the reminder can reopen the relevant page later.

TITAN does not need to continuously read or record the content of every webpage you visit. The extension is intended to use Chrome's user-initiated tab access rather than background browsing surveillance.

4. AI natural-language scheduling

If you use AI scheduling, the text you enter is processed to identify details such as the reminder title, date, time, recurrence, and related scheduling information. AI processing may require sending the text you submit to the service provider that powers the AI feature.

Do not enter sensitive information into the AI field unless you are comfortable with it being processed for that request. TITAN does not use AI scheduling as a reason to collect your general browsing activity.

5. Cloud synchronization

TITAN supports optional cloud synchronization for users who choose to use it. When synchronization is enabled, relevant reminder, sequence, history, and settings data may be transmitted to and stored by the services used to provide synchronization.

Cloud sync is different from the extension's local/offline functionality. Reminders can remain available locally even when an internet connection is unavailable, subject to Chrome and device behavior.

6. Custom sounds & local files

When you upload a custom MP3 alert, the file is intended to be stored locally by the extension for your reminders. We do not need access to unrelated files on your computer to provide this feature.

7. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers only where necessary to provide a feature you request, such as AI processing, authentication, cloud synchronization, hosting, or technical infrastructure.

We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, security, and integrity of TITAN, our users, or others.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information handled by TITAN. Local reminder data is designed to remain on your device unless you choose a feature, such as cloud synchronization, that requires transmission.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please keep your Chrome profile and devices protected with appropriate passwords and security controls.

9. Your choices & controls

• You can choose whether to use optional AI scheduling and cloud synchronization.
• You can remove reminders, sequences, and locally stored customization data through the extension's controls or by removing the extension, subject to Chrome's storage behavior.
• You can choose not to invoke "Remind Me Here" on webpages.
• You can manage Chrome extension permissions through Chrome's extension settings.

10. Children's privacy

TITAN is a general productivity tool and is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for targeted advertising or profiling.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when TITAN's features, technology, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
